The Virginia Horse Council (VHC) will host its Annual Meeting and Educational Seminar at Colonial Downs in New Kent, Virginia, on Saturday, March 13, 2010, from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
The educational portion of the seminar will be broken into separate tracks to include trails; equine health; marketing and ‘hot topics’ in the equine industry. The sessions will run concurrently allowing attendees to mix and match topics according to their individual interests. Back by popular demand is the youth track which will provide a "Day at the Races" experience with hands on demos and talks from racing and horse industry professionals. Learn about training, health and nutrition for race horses, plus go behind the scenes at the track to learn about betting, handicapping and drug testing. From the starting gates to the finish line, we'll see it all!
