VHSA Equitation/Hunter show series near Leesburg. Classes from Leadline to Working Hunter. We welcome all competitors from local stables! Our facility boasts excellent footing, great judges, many new jumps, indoor warmup arena, straightforward courses, and spectator seating! Fun and geared for children! Staff is friendly and helpful. Ribbons are awarded to the top 6 riders in each class. Champion and Reserve Champion will be awarded in each division with 3 or more entries. Red Gate Farm hosts a wonderful banquet at the end of the year that recognizes the top 6 riders in each division for the year 2010.
Trailer parking is available in our field with easy access to the ring and facilities. Playground for young children, picnic tables under shaded pavillion and bathrooms are available, as well as water for your horses.
Quite a nice selection of food and drink is available at our snack bar. We encourage all beginners, kids, and green horses/ponies, to begin showing at Red Gate Farm. Our staff will assist young riders if needed. All young children receive small prizes in addition to ribbons 1-6. Red Gate Farm wants everyone to have a pleasant, safe, and fun experience.
Directions
From Route 7 West of Leesburg, take route 9 West for 3.7 miles. Turn left onto Hampton Road, then your second right into Red Gate Farm.
