Gil Merrick spent the last four years as Managing Director for Dressage with the USEF. He was also the Team Leader for the USA dressage teams at the 2007 WEG, the 2007 Pan American Games, and the 2008 Olympic Games.
We are offering a one or two day clinic experience. This clinic is for any level rider in any discipline. Gil will begin each session with an assessment of the abilities of both horse and rider and discuss gymnastic exercises that will make the biggest difference in improving the horse’s strength, balance, rhythm and overall obedience to the aids. The balance of the session will focus on executing those exercises and working with the rider on seat, position and the use of aids to improve their training effectiveness. The clinic will be held rain or shine in a covered arena.
