The Equine Field Service at the VMRCVM Veterinary Teaching Hospital will host a seminar on Monday, April 26 from 7-9 p.m. to provide an opportunity for horse owners to meet members of the Equine Field Service team and to learn a practical approach to providing a balanced diet for horses. The seminar will be comprised of a one-hour presentation followed by hands-on labs on body condition scoring and hay evaluation.
The seminar is free and open to the public. Children are welcome. To register, call (540) 231-9042 or e-mail Leslie Betterton at lewright@vt.edu. The registration deadline is April 23, 2010.
