The mission of the Aspen Hill Open Show Series is to provide a fun and safe place for anyone of any breed or discipline to show their horse. We offer a relaxed environment where you can come as you are—that is, you don’t need fancy outfits or flashy tack to compete.

and the Central Viginia Paint Horse Club Open Show Program

How to get to the Aspen Hill Open Show:
From Richmond:
Ø Take state route 360 (Hull Street) southwest toward Farmville. Then, take state route 307 west toward Farmville for nine miles. State route 307 will end on state route 460. Follow route 307 to the right and turn on state route 460 west. Then take an immediate right onto route 600 north. Once on 600 north, veer to the left onto route 619 (Lockett Road) north. Follow route 619 north approximately two miles. Then, take a left onto Aspen Hill Road. Show ground entrance will be the first driveway on the left.
From Petersburg:
Ø Take state route 460 west until it intersects with state route 307. After you pass route 307, take an immediate right onto route 600 north. Once on 600 north, veer to the left onto route 619 (Lockett Road) north. Follow route 619 north approximately two miles. Then, take a left onto Aspen Hill Road. Show ground entrance will be the first driveway on the left.
From Lynchburg:
Ø Take state route 460 east past Farmville. Once you drive into Rice, take a left onto route 600 north. Once on 600 north, veer to the left onto route 619 (Lockett Road) north. Follow route 619 north approximately two miles. Then, take a left onto Aspen Hill Road. Show ground entrance will be the first driveway on the left.
From Charlottesville:
Ø Take state route 20 south toward Dillwyn. Then, take a right onto state route 15 south toward Farmville. Go through the stop light and bear to the left (460 East, Richmond) onramp. Once you drive into Rice, take a left onto route 600 north. Once on 600 north, veer to the left onto route 619 (Lockett Road) north. Follow route 619 north approximately two miles. Then, take a left onto Aspen Hill Road. Show ground entrance will be the first driveway on the left.
