On July 23rd - 25th, Dominique, in the French classical dressage tradition, brings to life the essence of this tradition and reveals its relevance to the contemporary rider. Barbier’s famous work “in lightness” has deep roots, springing from Xenophon’s pronouncement that nothing forced can be beautiful and carried forward in the traditions of riding masters Gueriniere and Baucher.
Barbier studied riding in his native France, as well as in England, and later he moved to Portugual to work extensively with Mestre Nuno Oliveira. Barbier has drawn on these experiences to create his own school.
Beginning with mental attitude - “The Part of Riding No One talks About” - Barbier presents a comprehensive program from riding fundamental through Haute Ecole.
