Old Waterloo Equine Clinic and CFC Farm & Home Center will be hosting the second in a series of “Chili and Chocolate Seminars” to be held in the Multipurpose Building at the Fauquier County Fairgrounds on Wednesday, October 20, at 7 p.m. The previous seminar in May was attended by 75 horse owners. This month’s topics will be “Dealing with Scary Situations” (just in time for Halloween). Dr. Nicole Eads, from OWEC, will discuss how to handle emergencies and avoid seasonal problems that can occur. Cindy Dell, Equine Nutrition Specialist from CFC, will cover “Building a Ration around Your Forage”. Cindy will walk participants through the ration balancing process with multiple hay samples. The event will begin with Chili and Chocolate at 7:00 p.m. The program will begin at 7:30 p.m., and everyone will go home enlightened by 9:00 p.m. RSVP OWEC@aol.com or 540-347-0807 by October 15th.
