Sue Lyman Hunter-Jumper Ridability Clinic with Laura Rowley, Animal Communicator.
“Riding with the Right side of Your Brain”
An accomplished competitive rider, Sue Lyman’s particular talents include recognizing potential in young prospects, breaking and starting young hunters and jumpers, diagnosing and developing untrained or difficult horses so that they become easy for others to ride. She has started many very successful show hunters including Roxdene, Irregardless, El Roy, Movado, The Lion’s Share and the legendary Simbalu. Sue is a USHJA certified trainer , serves on the USHJA Professionals Committee and is currently pursuing her USEF judge’s license.
Laura Rowley combines her decades of experience as a horseman with her psychic insight to help riders achieve new levels of understanding with their mounts. She brings with her years of competing in eventing and jumpers, management of a sales and show facility, teaching, as well as owning and running a TB breeding program. She works with 1000’s of clients a year from her Ocala home, focusing on performance improvement on a physical, emotional and spiritual level. Her work is in demand with Olympic trainers, veterinarians, athletes, and animal lovers from around the world. She’ll help you clarify and demystify the questions you most want answered about your horse’s health and happiness.
Join these two dynamic teachers as they heighten your awareness and performance! This clinic will not only hone your skills with proper riding instruction, it will also open the door to that deeper side of yourself and your horse. Achieve better communication with your mount that will lead to fun and successful rides.
Clinic Focus: Ridability exercises that help your horse with straightness, elasticity and adjustability in stride, producing a more correct and accurate jump. There will be an evaluation of your horse’s preferences: equipment comfort, physical well being, warm-up needs, and riding style. The second day participants will put these skills to use on a course of jumps. You will get to hear how your horse feels about your rides.
