Tommy Serio, Training the Show Hunter and Course Riding Clinic. In more than three decades as a professional, Mr. Serio has won numerous year-end awards and major show championships aboard legendary hunters such as The Wizard and For Many Reasons. In 2002 he rode Summer Rally to the regular conformation championship at Devon Horse Show and Upperville Colt & Horse Show (where they also won the grand hunter championship); he was also grand green hunter champion at Upperville with Somerset Bay. More recently, Mr. Serio has been the rider of the outstanding hunter stallion Popeye K. In 2006, the pair were USEF Reserve National Champions in the Regular Conformation, and repeated that finish in 2007.
This riding clinic will focus on getting the best performance out of your horse. The first day will consist of flat work exercises, gymnastics, correct rider position and technique. The second day will put skills together from the first day to ride a course of jumps.
