Old Waterloo Equine Clinic and CFC Farm & Home Center will be hosting the third in a series of “Chili and Chocolate Seminars” to be held in the Multipurpose Building at the Fauquier County Fairgrounds on Wednesday, March 9th, at 7 p.m. The previous seminars in May and October were attended by 75 horse owners. This seasons topics will be Pasture, Your Horse's Friend or Foe? Dr. Nicole Eads, Dr. Tena Boyd & Dr. Helen Poland from OWEC, will discuss laminitis, fescue toxicity and poisonous plants. Roy Lambert, manager CFC Farm & Home Center Warrenton will cover pasture management & renovation. The event will begin with Chili and Chocolate at 7:00 p.m. The program will begin at 7:30 p.m., and everyone will go home enlightened by 9:00 p.m. RSVP OWEC@aol.com or 540-347-0807 by October 15th. From Rt. 29 South take Meetze Road Exit and turn left, go approximately 3/4 mile, turn left on to Old Auburn Road, 1/2 on right will be the fairgrounds.
From Rt. 29 North take Meetze Road Exit and turn right to approximately 3/4 mile, turn left on to Old Auburn Road, 1/2 on right will be the fairgrounds.
