The Virginia Horse Center Foundation is pleased to present Dressage with a View, an innovative Dressage schooling show series beginning on June 4, 2011.
Chris McCoy, Assistant Director of Operations created these shows with riders like his eight-year old daughter in mind; those looking to gain show experience, working with green horses, or fine-tuning tests in between rated shows. Each show will feature a Musical Freestyle, a fun Dressage Trail Class, and a Test of Choice for riders looking to challenge themselves with upper level tests. Quadrille demonstrations will be performed by Hoofbeat Therapeutic Riding Program’s Lil’ Hoofers and Drill Bits.
The Dressage with a View series is a great stepping stone for riders and horses of all levels. The second show is July 30 and the last on September 10. Riders are encouraged to complete in all three events as a series-end high score awards presentation will take place on September 10.
