Pre-Entries must be received via e-mail or online by midnight the Tuesday prior to the show

Helmets Required when Mounted
Negative Coggins Required
Waivers must be signed by Parent or Adult Rider
Sorry, No Dogs Allowed
Concessions by Powhatan Riders 4-H

Showmanship - Western or English, Pattern to be posted at 7:00AM day of the show.
Leadline - Open to any rider who is not ready to ride alone yet, must be led by leader with lead
attached; walk only. May not cross enter into anything except showmanship.
Western Pleasure Classes -Horses are shown in western attire. Riders will be asked to walk,
jog, and lope. There are youth and adult classes as entries warrant.
English Pleasure Classes - Horses are shown in English attire. Riders will be asked to walk,
trot, and canter. There are youth and adult classes.
Games - Open to any style of rider games are timed events as warranted
Gold Oldies Division - For Riders 45+ judges 50% horse, 50% rider and Western or English
attire is acceptable. Riders will be asked to walk, trot and canter.
O/F Divisions - Each division is composed of 1 flat class and 2 over fences classes except
Equitation.
Junior Short Stirrup- 18” Cross Rails and Verticals open to riders 18 and under
Senior Short Stirrup- 18” Cross Rails and Verticals open to riders 19 and over
Pony Hunter - For all ponies 14.2 and under, all ponies will jump 2’
Baby Green - 2’ For horses or ponies in their 1st or 2nd year of showing
Student Hunter - 2’3” for Amateur riders and riders under 18
Equitation - Only Classes 24 & 37 Jumps at 2’3” Riders can be asked to trot, halt or
back up as part of O/F classes as noted on course
Low Hunter - 2’6” Open to any Horses or Ponies
Working Hunter - 3’ Open to any Horses or Ponies
