Cavaletti and Gymnastics Clinic I at Morven Park
With Paul Ebersole
January 19 or 20th, 2013
Paul Ebersole is a certified Level III USEA instructor and CCI*** level event rider. Over the last 15 years he has evented through the Advanced level and trained both horses and riders from Beginner Novice through Advanced. His training stable, Champagne Wishes Farm, has produced multiple Medal winners at the NAYRC (North American Young Riders Championships), successful Advanced level students, as well as multiple Adult Amateurs who completed their first CCI*. Paul has developed Pony Clubbers from “D” through “A”. More information about Paul and Champagne Wishes Farm can be found at Champagnewishesfarm.com.
This first clinic of the series of three will combine the use of ground poles, cavaletti, grids and single fences. The next two clinics will build upon the first clinic’s concepts with progressive complexity suitable to each level. Lessons will last one hour for groups of three or four riders, for all levels from Green horses and going up through the Eventing levels. The next two clinics will be held Feb 2nd or 3rd, and Feb 16th or 17th.
Paul will also offer a “Dressage Over Poles” group if demand exists for those non-jumping riders looking for something different for mid-winter training. This lesson will focus on rhythm, power and articulation of joints, in all three gaits.
Riders are encouraged to form their own groups (horses should be close to the same level) in order to make the clinic a fun and lively day! Priority will be given to riders that sign up as a group, however every effort will be made to place single riders in appropriate groups. Please include any information that you deem helpful in our effort to form fun and compatible groups.
Cost is $90 per horse which includes Morven’s ring fee. Auditors are welcome to watch at no charge.
To sign up, please email Pat Palmer at ppalmerwheatland@aol.com with rider’s name, horse’s name, level, horse/rider experience, telephone number, day preference (Sat or Sun), and any other information that might be helpful for a forming group.
Or if you have questions, please call Paul at 703-431-4580
