Please join us for Project Horse’s Open House, May 18th & 19th 2013 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, located at their equine facility at 16334 Berlin Turnpike, Purcellville, VA. The spring event is also part of the Loudoun County Spring Farm Tour. Admission is free.

The Project Horse Open House will introduce the community to their unique environment of horses as teachers and healers. Many of the therapy horses have been rescued and rehabilitated, each having individual stories of overcoming tough circumstances and challenges. Now leading healthy, happy and productive lives, these horses are outstanding role models for all who want to learn from them.

All who attend the open house will enjoy spending time with the horses and discovering what makes them great teachers and therapist partners. Other fun activities include Demonstrations, Bake Sale, Kid’s Crafts and Raffles. Project Horse merchandise will be available for purchase. There will also be information available about Project Horse services, summer camps, social skills groups and horse sponsorship opportunities.

100% of funds raised will go towards funding Project Horse programs and equine care.

To ensure a safe and fun weekend for all, Project Horse asks that visitors not bring their pets.

Established in 2008, Project Horse is an all volunteer, non-profit equine assisted learning and therapy center. The organization’s mission is to improve the quality of life for both horses and humans, creating a unique community of healing and benefit.
