Registration is currently open. Click here to register. The registration dealine is Friday, September 13 at 5 PM. Additional riders may be accepted after this date as space allows.

There is no registration fee associated with the Ride. However, each rider is must raise a minimum of $250 in donations. The deadline for donations that count towards your participation and award totals is Friday, September 13 at 5 PM. We will continue to accept donations through the end of October.HOW TO REGISTER

FUNDRAISING

EVENT SCHEDULE

Trail Groups
Riders may sign up for a specific group when registering (preferred to expedite check-in). If you do not sign up prior to the ride, you may sign up at the registration table the day of the event. Group boards will be on display for sign up.

Each group will be led by a Trail Boss. Riders will be asked to stay with their chosen group. If you need to switch groups, an outrider or sweep rider can assist you.
Jumping/"First Flight": This group will leave first and will go cross country as the first field in foxhunting. Water crossings, jumps, etc. should be expected.
Walk/Trot/Canter (2 groups): This will be a non-jumping group. You will need to be prepared for cross country water crossings and varying terrain.
Walk/Trot (2 groups): Same as Walk/Trot/Canter with no cantering.
Fast Walk/Gaited Horses: This is a fast-paced walk group. Riders will need to stay together. Water crossings should be expected.
Walk (medium): Regular/medium-paced walk group. Same conditions as Fast Walk/Gaited Horses group.
Walk & Talk: Leisure-paced walk group covering a shorter distance than the previous walk groups. Advisable for slower horses or those wishing for a shorter length ride.

COGGINS REPORT
A copy of a current Negative Coggins' test must be submitted for each horse. You may submit the report prior to the event (preferred to expedite event check-in) by faxing it to 804-320-1774, emailing it to info@komencentralva.org, or mailing it to:

If you do not submit the report prior to the event, you must have it in hand the day of the event. NO ADMITTANCE TO THE EVENT WITHOUT A CURRENT NEGATIVE COGGINS' REPORT.
STABLING
We're happy to announce the availability of stabling for Ride for the Cure participants. Freestyle Equestrian Center has 20 stalls available along with room for trailer parking.

For $35 a night, or $65 for two nights, you'll have access to a 12x12 rubber matted stall with two bags of shavings. You will not have to strip the stall. Additionally, the barn has a wash stall with both hot and cold water. Please make sure to bring your own water buckets. Turnout will not be offered.

DINNER FOR NON-RIDERS
Dinner is free for riders participating in the event. Dinner tickets are available for riders' families and friends. Dinner includes beer/wine/soft drinks and silent auction. Dinner tickets are $35 for adults and $15 for children 12 years and under.
