The competitive trail ride will be held at the “Bridle Trail” at Sky Meadows State Park in Delaplane, VA (near Paris, VA). The ride will be approximately 7-10 miles long and will include the NEW trails on the West side of Route 17. Trails are a mixed terrain to include pastures, stream crossing and the mountain trail. There are 10 obstacles on the course. Horse and rider teams will be judged on their ability to negotiate these obstacles safely, trail manners, general horsemanship and ability to complete the ride within the prescribed time as determined by the Course Designers.
