Don’t miss the Extreme Mustang Makeover event in Lexington on August 25-27! Lexington is one of 10 selected cities for the program’s “10 Years. 10 Cities. 10 Times the Extreme” anniversary tour, which challenges trainers to help wild horses become gentle companions ready for adoption. Watch wild mustangs and riders perform amazing feats during freestyle performances, and you can even have a chance to adopt a true living legend as your own. You won’t want to miss a chance to see these amazing animals’ intelligence and beauty!
The event is one of three cities that are concurrently hosting the America’s Mustang tour, which helps attendees discover who the American mustangs are while learning about the rangelands they call home. Both programs are produced by the Mustang Heritage Foundation (MHF) in partnership with the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Wild Horse & Burro Program. It’s open to the public to help locals learn about and interact with wild horses to ensure healthy herds and rangelands for the future.
