10am to 5pm. The goal of this workshop is to enable participants to "get an eye" for what is a healthy hoof and what is not, and be able to apply what they have learnt to evaluate their own horses feet. Anne will talk about the importance of sole thickness, caudal hoof integrity, balance, white line integrity. Diet , laminitis and the effects on the hoof will be discussed, as well as the role of hoofboots/glue on shoes for rehabilitation and riding. Anne will evaluate and trim different horse's feet, and take apart a cadaver hoof so participants may see the internal structures. Max participants 10. Contact Anne for more info.
