Our day camps will be held July 11-22. They run Mon.-Fri., 9-5 with early drop-off and late pick-up available at no cost for those that need them.
There is a horse show for parents to see what students have learned in the morning on Saturday. The show is optional and no extra cost.
Heldergate Double-Lesson Day Camp sessions are open to all riders, ages 6-18. Camps include two lessons per day, except on afternoon specialist visit days, when they will have one lesson and later have a workshop with an equestrian industry professional. They include games and activities, horsemanship and theory, focus points on horse training, nutrition, competition, medical care and farrier science. Swimming time and lunch time will also be included. Students will create bags, tshirts, horse shoe ornaments and saddle pads, which they will keep for themselves after camp.
Cost is $350 for one week, or $300 per week for both. Cost for multiple children from the same family is also $300 per child, per week.
We also offer Double Lesson Days, which are single days or groups of days outside of larger camp weeks where full-day activities and riding lessons are available.
Some transportation from the Short Pump area may be available during camps and for Double-Lesson Days.
Regular lessons are also available: $45 each, or four for $160 ($20 savings).
