There are lots of ways to Enjoy the Ride, and the "Enjoy the Ride" Horse Fair is a day of celebrating just that! You'll want to join us early in the day, so as not to miss anything. Gates Open at 9am; shows and events begin at 10.There will be food and ice cream available.
Scheduled to appear are: the Order of the Horse Jousting, with full-contact jousting (knights will fall!); Company H, 4th Virginia Cavalry, Black Horse Troop will be demonstrating Cavalry maneuvers circa War Between the States; and the North America Mounted Archery Alliance will amaze everyone with their fine archery skills performed on horseback.
Horse Clinics and Demonstrations with Mary Schwentker (jumping), Britta Johnston (dressage) and Daniel Hoerauf (reining) are scheduled throughout the day; Magic Mini Horses (in sneakers!) will be there to visit; Breyer Horse Painting with Shelley all day; and The Prize Guy will be giving away more prizes! There will be more food options, more vendors displaying their wares, and a CFC Farm & Home Center store on the premises.
