Stark Performance Horses is honored to be invited to Point of View Farm in Northern Manassas, VA to share the joy of riding Western Dressage! We will be holding a fun-filled weekend of Introduction To Western Dressage.
Hillary Stark of Stark Performance Horses is a Professionalesson member of North American Western Dressage since 2015. She has competed locally, regionally and nationally in western dressage earning titles in all levels. Hillary is looking forward to bringing western dressage to Northern Virginia!
Western Dressage has been proven to enhance the relationship and communication with your horse in whatever discipline you are pursuing, including trail riding, jumping, cross country, gaming, obstacles, etc. Auditors are welcome to come watch and learn!
Part 1 will be an evening talk that includes hors d'oeuvres, a live demo, and a chance to ask and learn about this wonderful new discipline. Arrive at 6:30 pm, Friday July 15, for a "Meet And Greet." Hillary Stark of Stark Performance Horses will do a riding demonstration of Western Dressage followed by an explanation of what Western Dressage really is. Here's a chance to ask all the questions you want!
Part 2 will be on Saturday. Saturday will be your opportunity to ride with Hillary and try a test if you would like to. She will help you to improve your horsemanship skills so that you may become a better partner for your horse through classic training principles. Each lesson will be a 1 hour private, so that you may gain the most out of the experience.
Point of View Farm is a state of the art facility with a phenomenal indoor. Mirrors, dustless footing, and speakers throughout the arena offer the rider the best possible learning environment. A well-appointed viewing room above the arena, where you can hear and see everything, is air-conditioned for the viewers' comfort.
The fees for this two day Western Dressage Workshop are as follows:
Friday- $10
Saturday- $50
Auditors- $20
Those who plan on attending on Friday and/or Saturday need to send their fees in by no later than July 8th to reserve your spot.
